10 Things I’m Thankful For

Thanksgiving is almost a week away and despite these scary times, I began thinking about all the things that I am thankful for in my personal and professional life. So, I thought I’d change my typical Enterprise business topics and share these 10 things that I am thankful for:

Clients and work – great clients who give us fulfilling work that’s strategic, creative and full of variety from working with leading, innovative products in the golf business to redesigned golf courses pursuing the US Open.

Volunteering – which gives us a chance to ply new skills, engage interesting people with many talents, all in the cause of helping others.

My team – of smart, savvy and caring people who enjoy what they do and who allow themselves to push each other to serve our clients exceptionally and offer enterprising ideas

Media – who listen to our pitches, engage us with ideas and insights, and provide exposure that connects our clients to their customers.

Friends – who are there to counsel, support, encourage, and make the laughs and experiences all the more enjoyable.

American enterprise – that allows businesses like mine to compete in any kind of economy and feel fulfilled, energized and stimulated.

Family – who give anything and everything to inspire, empathize and help us realize our potential. And make us so happy that we miss them and cherish our time together.

New business ideas – like social media, which I have come to value and learn so much about. And we may be ahead of the curve, but it’s fun to be there because social media is a powerful marketing strategy. Thanks for blogging too, which empowers idea sharing.

Freedom of expression – so ideas like this and many others can be expressed openly in this great country.

Readers like you – who I hope value my Enterprise ideas and insights on a monthly basis, and who actually read this newsletter.

So, thank you for reading this latest newsletter. And FYI, Macali just launched a blog offering insights, ideas and advice on how to grow your business through social media. I’d love to hear your comments.

Happy Thanksgiving to you, your family and friends!
