Kevin Donnellon

From his first job as a caddie to the beginning of his career in marketing PR, Kevin has had a passion for the game of golf and the industry from Day 1. Now with more than 30 years of marketing and communications in the golf business – he’s unstoppable!

Kevin understands the golfing community ranges from those who experience golf as a hobby to those who live golf as a lifestyle. He is the “go to” guy for anything golf. He has helped clients grow their business and its awareness, reputation and credibility through public relations, marketing communications, events, sponsorships, integrated marketing and social media.

Kevin has extensive experience in golf and sports’ brands including clients such as: SeeMore Putter Company, Fujikura Composite Shafts,True Temper, Allen Edmonds, GolfTEC, Wilson Golf, American Junior Golf Association, Western Golf Association, New Era, Gatorade, Quaker Oats, Sears, Lands’ End, Prince, Miller Brewing Company, EAS Nutrition, Coppertone Sport and Brunswick.

He is a member of the National Golf Foundation, Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, National Sports Marketing Network, Golf Writers Association of America, The International Network of Golf, American Marketing Association and Public Relations Society of America.

He is past president of the Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship Alumni Association, past member of the Executive Committee of the Western Golf Association, and member of Gilda’s Club of Chicago. He serves on the WGA Par Club and has helped manage PR programs for the BMW Championship and the Evans Scholars Foundation.

Kevin is a 1978 graduate of The Ohio State University, where he was a Chick Evans Scholar, Journalism/Political Science major and active in many student organizations. Kevin lives in Chicago.

He is an avid golfer, aspiring pianist and voracious reader of biographies, classics and history books.

“Golf is almost a spiritual connection for me,” says Kevin. “When I’m on a golf course, it is a feeling much like skiers when they ski powder or fly fisherman when they meander through a stream. Golf is a labor of love that started as a caddie and a greens-keeper and continues as a businessman.”
